This is NOT a CNA job and this is NOT an HCS Group Home. This is a Residential Treatment Center. We provide treatment services to boys ages 8-17. Our clients are diagnosed with ADHD, Bipolar, Opposition Defiant Disorder, Mood Disorder, Schizophrenic, and other mental disorders. At times they have the ability to Run Away, Sexually Act Out(Masturbate), become Assaultive, and use profanity towards you. They can have temper tantrums, destroy property, and make allegations. They can steal from you and others, and even try to fight you and peers. You will have to be physically able to execute approved restraint methods at any given time. They can be a danger to themselves and others. These are things that you can experience on any given day. Not saying that these things will happen, but these are typical behaviors from day to day. However, if you are willing to learn how to prevent and manage these behaviors, we would love to have you on our team.
